On Monday evening Year 8 went to watch Round 9 of the Netball Vitality Super league where Surrey Storm were taking on Wasps. For many, it was the first time they had seen any live Netball. It was highly skilled, fast paced and exciting as both sides defence worked hard against some very accurate shooting. The students loved it and were rooting for Surrey Storm from the outset, learning some new tactics they are going to bring to their games.
After a close last quarter, Surrey Storm won the game. The evening was the topped by the students meeting the players. Probably the highlight of their day!
