Year 10 Art Trip to The Karl Blossfeldt Exhibition
Year 10 Fine Art students visited the Karl Blossfeldt exhibition at the Old Big School Gallery to explore the pioneering use of light, viewpoint and composition in his photography of natural forms. They were able to see a range of images produced in 1932 using a homemade camera and lens that could magnify a subject by 30 times. We will be back in the art studio’s next week producing our own responses to Blossfeldt using a range of photography techniques to record ideas and explore different perspectives. We are excited to see what the students produce!
