On Friday 11th March, Textile students collaborated with sustainable fashion company Eco-Mio, to take part in a fashion show at The Tonbridge Old Fire Station. Students from the Textile Decoration Club added a variety of beading and hand embroidery to pre-loved clothing, which was modelled and sold at the event.
15 students attended the event and supported in many ways: modelling in the catwalk, photographing the event, helping backstage with curtain calls, running the cloakroom, welcoming guests, and running the charity raffle. The event was well attended and was a fantastic experience, many members of the public commented on the fantastic and mature attitudes of our students.
