What will I Study?
The course is a fusion of Music, Dance and Drama and students will attend lessons in all three disciplines. They will learn the skills to develop and progress as a Musical Theatre performer. Students will work practically towards performances, in addition to completing written assignments where they will evaluate their understanding of practitioners and theatrical styles.
This course enables students to become independent learners, providing them with the work ethic and discipline to pursue a career within the performing arts. Students will study five units, which cover investigating practitioners’ work, group performances and developing techniques and skills for live Musical Theatre performances.
Students will perform in our studio theatre benefiting from a full-time technician, lights and costumes, allowing them to experience performing musical theatre to a professional standard. Students will also participate in workshops led by professionals within the industry, designed to equip them with the knowledge and expertise required to succeed as a performer.
Where will it lead?
