GCSE PE Rock Climbing trip
The past few days have been a thrilling adventure for our GCSE PE class! They channelled their inner mountaineer and tackled a rock-climbing course at Lower Grange Farm in Maidstone. The purpose of the trip was to assess the students as part of their GCSE practical exam. On each day, students received a coaching course on rock climbing and were being filmed which will be used as evidence towards their final practical grade. It was a non-compulsory trip, however, was very beneficial in gaining higher practical marks. This counted as their individual sport, and would be 10% of their overall grade. Word on the street is that students had an absolute blast
