Last weekend, we are happy to report that, once again, our students were able to resume the process of completing their DofE award as intended. This does mean that we have over 100 students who are eagerly working towards this award and will be going out with us for their expedition in April. On Saturday we had the students at school taking part in several activities in preparation for their training walk the next day and finally for their upcoming expedition. The students were amazing, in high spirits and quite excited for their walk. Sadly, the weather did not play ball for Sunday which meant the walk was a cold and muddy one.
The students got the chance to put all their training into practice. They braved the wilds of Shipbourne and Ightham and all the groups successfully navigated their way around the route (eventually).
