Each year, as well as offering regular clubs, we run a rich calendar of events in which students from all year groups are encouraged to participate. Our annual musical is always a highlight for the school and we stage a ‘Stars in their Eyes’ talent show, as well as numerous drama productions, fashion shows and concerts.
Students at Hillview participate in a wide variety of educational visits and excursions throughout the year. We also partner with other schools and local businesses to participate in joint projects. These activities help enrich students’ experiences, broaden their outlooks and provide opportunities for them to collaborate and extend their knowledge.
Our Modern Foreign Languages department runs trips to Spain and France. This is a great opportunity for students to build upon their language skills and cultural knowledge. There are also trips to the theatre, galleries, museums, outdoor pursuits centres and our annual ski trip at Easter. In 2019 a group of students and teachers yet again visited a village in Uganda with which we have strong links to offer aid and support to the children there.
